Continuing our tour of the High Streets of Surrey, UK, today we’re in Weybridge on the outskirts of London taking a walk along the lovely, quaint and quiet High Street.

This is the lovely Shepperton Village High Street. Shepperton itself doesn’t seem to have one so we’ll explore this one that starts lovely and quaint but then unfortunately expands into a bit more of a metropolitan scene.

Brentford have (at the time of writing) the newest Premier League Football Stadium in the UK so we decided to go for a walk to explore the location of their previous stadium, Griffin Park, and then walked from there, along the River Thames to go to the Gtech Community Stadium, built in 2020, which is their new home.

On the VE Day 80 bank holiday weekend we went for a walk along some West London high streets and in Whitton we found this delightful VE Day 80 mail box topper celebrating the occasion.

Continuing to explore the high streets around the Thames in West London, today we’re in West Molesey exploring a strangely residential High Street with hardly any shops on it at all.

We’re back in London working our way along all the High Streets near the River Thames.

Back in October we went for a walk from Ipswich Waterfront to Portman Road and then on into Ipswich Town Centre to attempt to combine the things we both enjoy.
