Today we’re walking along the road that could be considered as Ashtead High Street but it’s actually called, inventively, “The Street”. We’ll have a look at the pubs and shops and have a chat in the subtitles about a bit of the history but it’s well worth a read of the Wikipedia article about the village linked below.
