On a lovely hot summer’s day we decided to leave going for a walk until a bit later in the evening. This time we’re on Horsell Common in Woking, site of the fictional alien pod landing in H. G. Wells “War of the Worlds”. Once we’ve walked across the common we’ll continue on to McLaren Park, home of McLaren HQ and the McLaren Technology Centre. After that we continue on still and take a slightly hair-raising walk across the end of the runway at Fairoaks Airport where there is no fence! Unfortunately, as it was late evening there’s also no planes but you can’t have it all. On the way back we spot an interesting tree carved into a totem and then make friends with the doggy that we see multiple times through the video. Enjoy!
