Way back in 2021 and 2022 as the restrictions on travel were easing we embarked on a journey to walk the entirety of the London Canal Loop consisting of the Regent’s Canal, Grand Union Canal (Paddington Arm and regular), and the River Thames. Once we’d done that we also added in the Limehouse Cut, the Lee Navigation and the Hertford Union Canal to round the whole thing out. In total is was about 80 to 90km and took us just about a year to walk it in 10 parts.
