Just a short video today. While on a trip to the Waste Disposal Centre (The Tip) I managed to stop in Leatherhead for a quick walk down the High Street ending at the attractive River Mole.

Welcome to the first in a potential new series. Spurred on by Geoff Marshall and his “End of the Line” series we’re starting to follow the walks in Jeff Lock’s book, “Beyond the End of the Line”, starting at our nearest terminus, Morden.

We’re back in the London Borough of Sutton and this time we’re deviating a little way off of the High Street to explore the side roads that intersect with the High Street.

Today we’re taking a look at the Langley Vale Centenary Wood which is well known locally for the Regiment of Trees, a memorial to the inspection of troops that took place in the area in January 1915, and then Jutland Wood, a memorial to all British seamen lost during the First World War.

This video contains some flashing lights. After the last video of Salisbury in the daytime we returned to have a look at the Christmas Lights at night.

In the gap between Christmas and New Year we visited Salisbury for a short while so come with me on a tour of the Town Centre.

My previous video of Sutton High St seems very popular so here it again, this time with added Christmas Lights.

While we were on Clapham High St the other week we also popped across Clapham Common to Northcote Road which I think actually has nicer decorations.
