While we were on holiday this year in Mallorca we paid a visit to the local town’s Wednesday market so I though I’d bring you along with me.

Continuing our High Streets in Greater London here in New Malden.

Just across the River Thames from Kingston-upon-Thames is Hampton Wick, a nice little village-like area near to Hampton Court Palace.

Wimbledon tennis has been over for about a week now but Wimbledon Village is still in full bloom.

Nearly 2 years ago I went to Epsom Downs to check out the new signage I saw had been installed only to be disappointed that it actually hadn’t.

Way back in 2021 and 2022 as the restrictions on travel were easing we embarked on a journey to walk the entirety of the London Canal Loop consisting of the Regent’s Canal, Grand Union Canal (Paddington Arm and regular), and the River Thames.

This is another one where the road called “High Street” is not the main shopping street but don’t fear, I’ll try and make sure to record the main shopping street as well at some point so Subscribe and be on the lookout for that.

On the 9th June 2024 the London Bus Museum were running Heritage Buses on the old London Route 406 from #KingstonUponThames to #Epsom and then on to #Reigate, a portion of the route that stopped running in 1991.
