Salisbury Town Centre Walk in HDR

In the gap between Christmas and New Year we visited Salisbury for a short while so come with me on a tour of the Town Centre. We start at the Cathedral before heading down the High St and exploring the town centre. We take a walk down Butcher Row and Fish Row before crossing the Market Square which looks much more interesting at night (watch out for that video coming soon). We then pass through Market Passage to the Maltings which became infamous a few years ago as the location where the Sergei and Yulia Skripal were found after having been poisoned. From there we head up Fisherton Street before taking a leisurely stroll along the bank of the River Avon, through Queen Elizabeth Gardens and then out along Town Path to finish with a lovely view across the fields to the Cathedral in the distance. This is my first HDR (High Dynamic Range) video that should allow me to show more detail in both bright and shadowy areas so hopefully it will display correctly on your device, whether it supports HDR or not. If you have any problems watching, or if the video looks too bright, too dark or a strange colour please do let me know and I’ll see what I can do to improve next time. Unfortunately there is no Binaural audio for this one as my recording failed so this is in Stereo only. Apologies for the wind noise.

Filmed Late December 2022.
